Michael Grosso studied classics and received his Ph.D in philosophy from Columbia University. He has taught philosophy and the humanities at City University of New York, Kennedy University, and New Jersey City University, and is now an independent scholar, author, and painter. With a focus on creativity, social criticism and consciousness research, he has written and co-written books on mythology, life after death, and the parapsychology of religion.
