Garrett Griffin is an activist and political writer in Kansas City, Missouri. He is a co-founder of the Kansas City chapter of the Democratic Socialists of America, and the author of a popular self-published book called Racism in Kansas City: A Short History. Garrett works in community organizing at a social justice nonprofit called Communities Creating Opportunity. He studied at Missouri State University and earned a graduate degree in history education from Rockhurst University.
