About the Author:

I grew up on a farm in rural Washington State. The Wishkah River flows through my family's property. It lent itself to countless hours of fishing entertainment for me as a child. I would watch and observe all the wildlife, but I got the most entertainment from figuring out what the fish were biting. I suppose this is where my interest in entomology took root.
