Street Art of Valparaíso, Paperback

A collection of photos from the painted streets of Valpara so, Chile. The murals and street art of Valpara so are the equivalent of an outdoor museum, and reflect the cities past, present and hopes for the future. After the end of the Pinochet dictatorship, the cities walls began to be spontaneously covered with unique and colourful paintings. In 2003 Valpara so was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site for its imposed urban design and unique architecture and street art. This collection of photos includes murals painted during the recent mass protests against the government which began in October 2020.
