About the author

Gold mining has been a passion of mine for many years, when I thought about writing a book on Southern Oregon Mining. I wanted to write a book that no one had done before. I physically went out to as many old mines that I could find, took pictures inside and out, got the GPS coordinates, and Mapping coordinates and all the information I could find out about each. The treasure legends and stories came straight from the old timers that live during those days.
