The last thirty years have seen much scholarly debate surrounding the Protestant doctrine of justification. Weyerhaeuser Professor of Systematic Theology at Princeton Theological Seminary. A world-renowned Barth scholar, he is a frequent writer and lecturer on topics of Reformed theology.
