I've heard many stories and I've seen many ratings of this book series, but neither of them was specific enough so that my heart would stop trembling.
Pip is the "annoying" girl who can't stop asking inappropriate questions and won't even think about giving up without receiving some answers. Finding out the truth in Andie Bell's kidnapping case wasn't only a project, but her new addiction and full-time job. She couldn't let Sal's death be shadowed by a deed he didn't commit. Taking as granted what they first saw and heard seemed far easier for the little English town than trying to understand what happened back then.
Andie wasn't that blonde, blue eyed tiny and unguilty girl the town thought she was. Her background was in the darkest shades of black I've ever seen. Nobody could have ever fully known her.

Pip is going to prove the police and the officials how wrong they were, because huge errors occurred there. She wants her town to come back to normal and with Ravi's help, Sal's little brother, they have the greatest chances of catching the culprit/s. Nobody is telling the truth and the guilty one will take everyone down with him. It's a Universe of secrets and the two teenagers are far from the end of the whole story.

⚡ The details were absolutely awesome! The maps, the journals and, obviously, the interviews made the whole story very professional and I can see that the author took seriously this job. I'm astonished by the emails and every tiny detail that you wouldn't have expected to find here.

⚡ The story had very few main characters, but they were enough. Many suspects, the plot is becoming deeper and deeper, the secrets start to come out and all the lies just bring the characters' irreversible falling closer.

⚡ There are many plot twists and I think this is the best thing at this book, since the mystery should find its place in the story. It really draws your attention and I definitely recommend it for the summer holiday
