About the author
Michael Phillips is a best-selling novelist and expert on the life and works of 19th century Scotsman George MacDonald. He has written a major biography of MacDonald and a half dozen additional studies of MacDonald's work, in addition to overseeing the re-publication of more than fifty MacDonald titles. He is the author of over eighty titles, fiction and non-fiction, in his own name.
