As Good As Dead, Paperback

This was by far one of the best trilogies based on criminal investigations I’ve read. The last volume of the series was very difficult for me to read, because I consider it a tough one. Our story finally finds its final chapter, but until the very end the plot will terrify you, amaze you and also make you mad. Be prepared for a thunder storm of emotions, because this book will guide you through all of them.

(𝟓/𝟓) 𝐂𝐇𝐀𝐑𝐀𝐂𝐓𝐄𝐑𝐒: Pip is a grown up now, a future student and it’s clearly that she had a huge character development. She is determined, independent and has a whole community of fans, and Ravi is there for her at every tiny step. It’s more than obvious that their relationship is closer than ever, having the air of something like a future married couple?! Friendships aren’t between strangers anymore, but between family members. This is a family they chose and whom they trust. This volume is about relationships between people & about how a horrible thing can change a life and the others coming with you. It is about sacrifices and every character had to make his hard decisions for sure. I appreciate the strong bond that keeps all of them together no matter what.

(𝟓/𝟓) 𝐀𝐂𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍:The plot line is of a good quality, the descriptions are relevant and meaningful. I said it was hard for me to read this volume because the book talks about issues as drugs, kidnapping & PTSD, which marks a human being in the end. It made a call to my sensibility I guess, because it was clearly that Pip was going through a lot and she desperately need someone to take the weight from her shoulders. One thing that I consider being perfectly integrated and used is the amount of information Pip knows and shares with us which is very diverse and well-searched for. The scenes are full of tension and the book makes its point keeping your whole attention through the whole story. The last messages (you will know what I’m referring to when you read the book) are completely amazing, full of unspoken things and they bring so many feelings with them.
