The battle scenes are absolutely brilliant! The energy, the atmosphere and the descriptions make you feel like you are right on the battle field. The tension is not only making your heart trembling, but your breath cutting and your spine shiverring.
We have far more personal and intimate scenes between Trinity and Zayne in this new volume. They take the risk and obey the rules. Mistakes are being made and there will be consequences, but they aren’t alone anymore. They’ll overcome everything. Together. We clearly see a development in Zayne’s character. Now that I am being honest, Zayne seemed to me the „good guy” and sensitive type ...a little bit exagerated ..maybe even weak, in the first volume of the series, but he evolves a lot now.
They will call Lucifer for the big fight. It’s a big deal in the story, ok! And he is so funny and immature. I obviously love him. Not to mention his „big” bussiness on Earth. Zayne and Trinity will have to deal with that another time. The replies are stunning and I am amazed by the fun of the plot twists.
